HVAC Coils

Coils are a major component of air conditioning systems. They are actually long tubes that are wound back and forth and fitted with aluminum "fins" to increase their surface area. Their function is to condense and evaporate refrigerant. Fans move air across the "finned" coils to make them work efficiently. It is important to keep the coils clean. While coils may appear to be clean, frequently a thin film causes air conditioning units to work inefficiently. Our technicians use commercial ‘spray-on’ cleaners to effectively clean the coils.
